Annikki Festival Park
The previous Annikki Poetry Festival attracted a record number of guests, causing occasional congestion. Due to this, the park located next to the Annikki wooden quarter will now house not only restaurant services but also the book bazaar with book signing desk and children’s programme, which were previously located in the courtyard. The Annikki festival park is a free area open to everyone, and it will offer free of charge programme throughout the day, including the Viitapiiri association’s Open mic for poets. The poetry murals produced by the Annikki Poetry Festival are just steps away — well worth a visit! The entire festival park is a smoke-free area (a designated smoking area is available nearby).
Annikki Food Court
The Annikki Food Court, which proved hugely popular at previous festival, will continue as part of the festival park. The park is an open area for everyone and can be easily accessed from the festival courtyard directly through the gate facing the park. The delicious food offering will be provided by Kasvisravintola Gopal, Ravintola Whatever and Vegania Catering. On offer will be vegetarian and vegan treats. Handcrafted vegan ice cream from Jäätelökioski Paiste is also available.
